June Lake Fishing
Rent a boat and enjoy the afternoon! Or launch your own boat from June Lake Marina. There is no boat launch at June Lake beach, this spot is best for paddle boards, kayaks and swimming. Be careful not to go fishing with high winds, as this big lake can have dangerous conditions during windy weather. Please also remember to pick up your trash and clean up any fish mess before you leave as there is no one there to do it for you. Defecating next to the water is also not permitted (and gross).
Location
June Lake is located at the South Entrance to town off HWY 158
Fish Tips
Fish from the shore just about anywhere, a favorite spot is below the HWY 158 and from June Lake Beach when conditions are right. Rent a boat or launch your float tube and head towards the reeds by Boulder Lodge.
